Barroz : Guardian of D'Gama's Treasure is an upcoming malayalam language fantasy adventure film directed by Mohanlal in his directorial debut . The screenplay was written by Jijo Punnoose based on his novel. Barroz : Guardian of D'Gama's Treasure . It stars Mohanlal in the title role , Prithviraj Sukumaran , Shayla McCaffrey , Sara Vega and Rafael Amargo, Caesar Lorente Ration , Padmavati Rao ,Pendro Figueiredo , Jayachandran Palazhy Prathap Pothen  also stars. The film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor through the company Aashirvard Cinemas .
