Sir Philip Anthony Hopkins CBE born 31 December 1937 is a welsh actor , director and film producer. He has received many awards , including two Academy Awards , four BAFTAs , two Emmys , the Cecil B. Demille Award and a British Academy Television Award in 1993 . He was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for Sevices to the arts .

Hopkins received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2003 and the BAFTA Fellowship for lifetime achievement from the British Academy of Film and Televison Arts in 2008.

Anthony Hopkins received the award for Best Actor at the Oscars 2021. The actor was nominated for his role in " The Father " .
