" Venom " Movie Review :

 TV investigate journalist Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy ) is working on an expose of scientist Carton Darke ( Riz Ahmed ),who is using San Francisco's homeless as guinea pigs to bond humans with aliens . Sneaking in to Darke's lab , Eddie's body merges with symbiotic Venom who gives him super _ strength ,a deep inner voice and a huge appetite.

Tom Hardy's performance in particular is fidgety ,muted and curiously unengaging .Venom is neither triumph nor train _wreck .It's a mediocre origin story ,a superhero host that sadly fails to bond with its comedy parasite . Which is a shame ,as there is enough here to suggest it could have been a blast. 

Venom is an  American superhero movie based on the Marvel comics character of the same name, produced by Colombia Pictures in association with Marvel .The film is directed by Ruben Fleischer from a screenplay by Scott Rosenberg ,Jeff Pinker and Kelly Marcel.Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock /Venom, alongside Michael Williams ,Riz Ahmed , Scott Haze and Reid Scott .
